This is not a book of history, this is a book of stories which narrates in a very kind way the episodes during the period of the Military presidents in El Salvador, with whom Waldo, had a very close friendship. He combines this with a appreciation of what he considered that had been important accomplishements they made, in order to benefit the country, with the difficulties these presidents faced, which sometimes only the people that are closest to them are actually able to know about.
